Mumbai’s Art Deco architecture is a reflection of the city’s global spirit and cultural diversity. Shaped by history, trade, and migration, it blends European elegance with Indian heritage. Influenced by British colonization and global exchanges, the Art Deco movement found a unique expression in Mumbai. With its fusion of modernism and local craftsmanship . Mumbai boasts the world’s second-largest collection of Art Deco, evolving into the distinctive “Bombay Deco” style.
The project was featured in the 9th edition of the GemGenève magazine and showcased at The Art Deco – A Legacy of Timeless Elegance pavilion during GemGenève. It was later published and exhibited again during Digital Jewellery Week 2025 by GemGenève.
